Compilation of My ESRI MOOC Outputs

I am currently undergoing MOOC (Mass Open Online Course) that is hosted by ESRI. It is a six weeks online course. I am taking a cartography course. So I am intending to refresh my knowledge a bit about cartography and add some sense of art. I realize that basically I just stick to some templates when I created a map, now I am trying to learn to make a better visualization. Hope that the output will be more engaging and more attractive.

The tools that I used to create these maps is ArcGIS Pro. The MOOC provide a free license that is only active during the online course time frame. So practically, we are given a new account to log into the ArcGIS Pro. This is a proprietary software.

I think that ArcGIS Pro interface is slightly different from the previous desktop version of ArcMap. It is easier to understand the toolbar using ArcGIS Pro. The interface feels like the toolbar of Microsoft Word. So I believe that it is not really hard to transition from ArcMap Version to ArcGIS Pro.

The dataset is already provided by ESRI, so the students just need to follow the steps provided in the modules. The module is very easy to understand, the step by step process is well curated. I would highly suggest people to attend this free course. So here’s my output from the first week until the last meeting.
